Roy and my dad, Don Christopher, were great friends. I have so many fun memories of Roy from when we lived in Seymour and beyond. He and Arneata were really a staple in our lives while living in Seymour. I loved to hear him preach. He sat the standard of all preachers I sought during my entire adult life. My father loved him greatly, and I know they are celebrating with Jesus!
To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of the intelligent people
and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty;
to find the best in others;
to leave the world a bit better
whether by a healthy child,
a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;
to know that one life has breathed easier
because you lived here.
This is to have succeeded.
Matthew 5:4 (KJV) Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
I will miss seeing you and Arnett on monday nights at mcdonalds for pie and ice cream . My condolences to you I pray for comfort and peace to you .
