My family and I have known Ms. Louise Nichols "Honey" in the early 2000 through her grandson Andy Hunter. Andy and I worked at the Center for Health Information Management and Epidemiology (CHIME) of the Missouri Department of Health in Jefferson City, MO.
Through Andy, my family and his became friends. My kids, wife, and I called "Honey" Grandma like Andy and Rob would. Honey was a very kind and lovey grandma. I personally kept her handwritten postcards. I enjoyed her skillful handwriting. It is after her death I learned that she received an Award for her neat cursive handwriting.
