Betty Jean Crabtree (Buffalo)

April 12, 1940 - April 16, 2022

Betty Jean (Crady) Crabtree, daughter of Carl and Crystal (Manley) Crady, was born on April 12, 1940, in Newton, Iowa and departed this life on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri. She was the time of passing 82 years and four days of age. Betty was united in marriage to her late husband, Ray Donovan Crabtree, on May 19, 1961. To this union one son was born. Betty and Ray spent their early years in marriage living in Lincoln, Nebraska, and after retirement in 1986 moved to Hermitage, Missouri. She was very active in making her crafts and crocheting. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Crabtree; and her parents, Carl and Crystal Crady. She is survived by her son, Curt Crabtree of Alliance, Nebraska; two granddaughters, Carrisa Marie Crabtree and Macy Jean Crabtree; two honorary grandchildren, Canon Kennedy and Sarah Herrera; caregivers, John and Sheila Mayes; and other family members and friends. Cremation rites are being accorded by the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo, Missouri. Interment will take place at a later date in Nebraska.
