Carolyn Seaton (Camdenton)

June 22, 1943 - November 10, 2021

Margaret Carolyn Seaton, daughter of James "Red" E. and Dorothy Helen Webb Rector, was born, June 22, 1943 in Camdenton, Missouri. She departed this life, Wednesday, November 10, 2021, in Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of seventy-eight years, four months and nineteen days. On May 26, 1961 in Camdenton, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Harvey Seaton and to this union two children were born. Together they shared sixty years of marriage. She was preceded in death by parents; two brothers, James Rector, Jr. and Larry Rector and her sister-in-law, Gerry Rector. She is survived by her husband, Harvey Seaton of Macks Creek, Missouri; her two sons, Mike Seaton and wife Renee of Macks Creek, Missouri and Steve Seaton and wife Pam of Macks Creek, Missouri; her grandchildren, Nevin Seaton and wife Brandy, Aereall Seaton, Tagen Seaton and Shae Seaton; her great-grandchildren, Carson Seaton and Conner Seaton; her brother, Lee Rector and wife Jeanne of Macks Creek, Missouri; her sister-in-law, Linda Rector; her special friend Julie Bates and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Carolyn was born and raised in Camdenton and graduated from Camdenton High School in the class of 1961. She traveled with her husband while he was in the United States Army. They moved back to Camden County where they made their home. She had worked various jobs throughout her life. Carolyn loved most of all being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was saved at a tent revival and baptized. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. Carolyn was a loving wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021, Macks Creek Cemetery Pavilion, Macks Creek, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and mailed to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 15 Clint Avenue, Camdenton, Missouri 65020.
