I had just spent some time with Cassie and her fiancé Matt two saturdays ago at a friends wedding. We were never super close friends but she was always the life of the party. Always ready to get loud and have fun. She will be forever missed. Prayers to the family and Matt.
I've know Cassie since we was younger, but it wasn't up until after high school that we became very close. I remember all the fun times I had with her in our college classes, to meeting up in the computer lab to study. We became very close friends in a short amount of time, we spent many hours lounging around her house, her mom had made cupcakes and I could've eaten the entire plate of them. The second we wasn't around each other my phone filled with goofy snap and texts from her cause she couldn't wait to hang out again. We spent lots of time jamming out in the car, to enjoying time around bonfires with other friends. I don't think there was ever anyone who didn't enjoy being around Cassie, she was always a blast to be around, from her joyful personality, to her contagious laugh. She will be missed very deeply and I am so thankful I got to share many memories with her that will last a lifetime. Me and my family are keeping our thoughts and prayers for her family and other friends, while everyone is going through this difficult time. We love you Cassie you was a true friend and you was one of a kind. fly high sweetheart, we will all see you again.
After my dad passed one of my favorite things to do was go to his obituary page and read all the stories everyone who knew him in the last had left. Cassie impacted so many of our lives in the time she had here. I swear I had no choice but to smile or laugh when she was around. She was truly beautiful inside and out. Cassie and I use to sit out in the movie theater parking lot or the parking lot of the gym while we were suppose to be working out but instead we would talk and laugh for hours about any and everything. She was one of the easiest person to confide in and she was always there for anyone when they needed her no matter what. And that's why cassie was so loved. She has a beautiful spirit.
