Cleora "Corky" Williams (Camdenton)

November 15, 1928 - February 7, 2022

Cleora “Corky” Alberta Fields Williams was born November 15, 1928 to William “Add” Addison Fields and Delia Ann Foltz Fields. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jess B. Williams; her husband’s parents and her parents; two older brothers, William Henry Fields and Wilfred Addison Fields, and two sisters, Maggie Ann Rife and husband Chester, Thelma Pearl Breshears and husband Lewis and one daughter Marilyn Alberta Giddens. She is survived by two sons, Jay B. Williams and Steven Williams and wife Diane; one sister, Mary Frances Fields Rife; grandson, Mathew Williams; granddaughter Sandra Walker; five great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn Schmalstieg, Konner Walker, Karson Walker, Keston Walker and Kyler Walker; one great-great-grandchild, Kian Walker and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Corky’s sons and daughter-in-law, as well as family friends, Bob and Deborah have been great “caregivers” to her. Corky loved her home area and has made many friends in the area. Cleora, Wilfred and Mary Frances spent at least two years of school attending a one room country school, Prairie Union School. All eight grades were taught and she enjoyed the experience of that school. Cleora finished elementary school and high school at Wheatland as did Mary Frances Fields. She was raised on a farm about two miles north of Wheatland. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 19, 2022 in Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. Burial will follow in Sumner Cemetery, Wheatland, Missouri. Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Sumner Cemetery and mailed to Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, 15 Clint Avenue, Camdenton, Missouri 65020 or left at the funeral home.
