Danny J. Henson (Lebanon)

August 28, 1959 - January 30, 2022

Danny Joe Henson, son of David Albert and Gladys F. Decker Henson, was born August 28, 1959, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Sunday, January 30, 2022, in Lake Regional Hospital, in Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of sixty-two years, five months, and two days. He was united in marriage to Shelly Jean Jones, and they shared the last several years of happiness and memories. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, David and Doug Henson. Danny is survived by his wife, Shelly, of the home, near Lebanon, Missouri; a son, John David Henson, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He lived most of his life in the Lebanon area and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. He then began working as a machine operator for Lowe Boats where he remained for thirty-eight years. After he and Shelly were married they made their home near Lebanon. Danny made his profession of faith in Christ early in his life. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were fishing and hunting. He also greatly enjoyed spending time with his son. He always had a lot of spunk and had a good sense of humor. Danny was a loving husband, father, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories he made for them during his lifetime.
