Maxona so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Jack was a good man and will be missed by hartville community.
Jack was, simply put, one of the finest men we have known. He will truly be missed by our "family".
The Hartville community lost a great citizen. Jack will truly be missed by all.
Maxona, I wanted to express Joy and I's most heartfelt condolences. I know that Jack had his struggles for the past few years but through it all, each time we saw him, he was always upbeat and enjoyed talking to others and sharing stories and good times. One of the few memories I have of Jack when I was just a kid and we were at Uncle Herman and Aunt Lucy's doing hay. I think this might have been just before Jack left for the Army. but I remember He and Fay and a few others of the hay crew sitting under the shade trees in their front yard after lunch talking and laughing. I was quite a bit younger but was allow to "tag along".
Jack and Maxona and people like them have made our community a special place to live. They have been so involved in the support of the community and have served the community in so many ways for so many decades.
Jack always had a special way with kids. Mike and Mat always looked forward to going to Jack's to get gas. Our grandchildren, Skylar, Addisyn and KJ love Charlie Brown and Jack. It didn't hurt that he always had time to take them to his garden, or just talk to they. Thanks for the memories, Jack! You did good!
