James C. Cron, Sr. (Buffalo)

James Cecil Cron Sr., son of James Carl Cron and Bonnie Irene (Gallion) Cron, was born on May 25, 1929 in Reed Springs, Missouri and passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Webco Manor in Marshfield, Missouri. He was at the time of his death 92 years, 5 months and 10 days of age. James spent his early years in Reed Spring, Missouri and while still at a young age his family moved to the neighborhood of Watts in Los Angeles, California. At the age of 14 his family moved back to Fordland, Missouri where he graduated from Rogersville High School. After his time of service in the United States Navy, he opened their family business, ‘Cron Electric.’ He was a master electrician. He was also an avid fan of fishing, growing things, swap meets, and yard sales. James is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly Ann Cron; and five brothers, Richard Cron, Joe Cron, Keney Cron, John Cron, and Andy Cron. He is survived by two sons, James Cron and his wife Penny of Central Point, Oregon, and Carl Cron and his wife Billie of Buffalo, Missouri; two brothers, Glen Cron and his wife Larita of Fordland, Missouri, and Leonard Cron and his wife Rita of Santa Clara, California; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, Amber, and Sherrik; and seven great-grandchildren. He is loved and will be missed dearly. Cremation rites are being accorded by the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo, Missouri.
