Nancy A. Harris, sixty-one, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2022, at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar. She was the widow of Randy Harris. They shared forty-five years of marriage. Nancy was born in Springfield, Missouri, on June 17, 1960, to Shirley Medley. She attended Central High School. She was employed at a variety of places most recent includes the Post Office and Fair Play Schools. She was an active member of Countryside Assembly of God in Bolivar, Missouri. She was a board member for the Polk County Christian Social Ministries, where she was the leader of the Share Your Christmas organization. She was very passionate about the Share Your Christmas Angel Tree program and making sure that every child had a gift to open on Christmas. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, baking, playing with her grandchildren and volunteering at the school helping teachers by making copies, planning class parties, and anything else the teachers needed help with. Nancy loved being at the softball and baseball fields where she would keep the score book while watching her children and grandchildren play. Nancy was very involved in the Summer Sports program where she served as the league president for several years. Nancy will be most remembered for her willingness to help others in their time of need and being the 'Share Your Christmas' Angel Tree lady. She is preceded in death by her husband Randy Harris, father and mother-in-law Charles A and Katheryn Harris and 2 brother in laws. Nancy is survived by two sons, Randall Harris Jr, and Steven Harris (Jennifer), both of Fair Play Missouri; two daughters, Amy Whitlow (Daryl) of Fairview Heights, Illinois, and Amber Clemens (Jason) of Wichita, Kansas. She was blessed with twelve grandchildren Kyle, Aubrianna, Tyler, Haleigh, Madison, Brooklyn, Matthew, Mason, Mackenzie, Marshall, Maxwell, and Mallory. She was the oldest of 8 children: Linda, Jeanette, Lynn, Lance, Dawn, Scott and Jenee. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Countryside Assembly of God in Bolivar. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Comfort Cemetery on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help offset expenses.
