Natalie Ann Quennoz (Bolivar)

January 21, 1933 - March 20, 2022

Natalie was born January 21, 1933 in Newburyport, MA. Natalie was the first of three daughters born to Edward and Annette Holak. Natalie passed away peacefully Sunday morning on March 20, 2022 in her home with her rosary in hand, at the age of 89. Natalie was a devout Catholic and attended mass at the Scared Heart Church in Bolivar the evening before her passing. Natalie entered the Air Force July 9, 1951, where she served as a cook. She met James Quennoz while they were both in the Air Force. The two were married on November 14, 1953. To this marriage four sons were born. The couple lived on different military bases in the United States and Tripoli, Libya. The family moved to Missouri in 1972 following James’ retirement from the Air Force. Once in Missouri, Natalie went to work the for Division of Unemployment until her retirement. Natalie was a volunteer at Citizens Memorial Hospital until the last few years. She was awarded the Lillian Hutcheson Award in 2017. She thoroughly enjoyed her volunteer work. Natalie is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Beverly and Jackie, son Adam Quennoz and granddaughter Kyla Quennoz. Natalie is survived by her husband of 68 years, James Quennoz; three sons, Michael Quennoz of Aldrich, Wayne and wife Jean Quennoz of Springfield, Matthew and Kim Quennoz of Bolivar and a daughter-in-law Lynn Quennoz of Preston. Four grandchildren, Bryan (Megan) Quennoz of Republic, Julie (Evan) Allen of Fair Grove, Elizabeth (Nick) Bouselli of Waynesville and Miranda Quennoz of Preston; as well as ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. with mass following at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bolivar. Burial will immediately follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bolivar, Missouri or to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
