Ramadine Keith (Buffalo)

May 29, 1939 - February 19, 2022

Ramadine (Hayden) Keith passed away from complications from a stroke on the morning of Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, MO with her devoted husband Frank and daughter Stacy by her side. She gave it a good fight right up to the end when her body shut down. Ramadine was born at home to Oba Raymond and Alice Pauline (Sallee) Hayden on May 29, 1939. Ramadine grew up in a very lovely family who had family get-togethers every week. She was surrounded by aunts, uncles and cousins who she loved very much. She spent many years taking care of her mother after her father passed away, as well as widowed aunts. She was converted at a very young age at Red Top Baptist Church and attended for several years until her parents moved to Bolivar. Ramadine was united in marriage to James Franklin Keith on September 27, 1957, and to this union one daughter Stacy Pauline (Keith) Satterfield was born. Frank and Ramadine had 64 years together. Some of her favorite things were their trips to the Smokey Mountains where they loved to do nature hikes, got to the Grand Ole Opry, and see country music shows. They went to many shows till her health declined and they couldn’t go anymore. Ramadine loved working with her flowers, but most of all she loved her cats Button and Smokey. Ramadine was preceded in death by her parents, Oba and Alice Hayden; her in-laws, Mose and Nova Keith; and her brothers-in-law, Phillip Keith and Mack Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Frank Keith of the home; her daughter, Stacy Pauline and husband Claude Satterfield of Buffalo, MO; her sister, Gloria Taylor of Springfield, MO; and her nieces, Angela and husband Jason Hagenow of Springfield, MO, Gayle Lynn Elkordy of Springfield, MO, and Cheryl and husband Tony Cross of Buffalo, MO. She also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in the Grace Community Church with Rev. Jerry Grant and Pastor Vickie Coons officiating. Escorts will be Claude Satterfield, Roger Bradley, Deryle Potter, David Phillips, Keith Combs, and Rick Wright. Interment will be in the Red Top Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Red Top Cemetery Fund. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ramadine Keith please visit our Sympathy Store.
