Robert E. Viles, Jr. (Buffalo)

October 2, 1953 - April 17, 2022

Robert Eugene Viles Jr. was born in Kansas City, Kansas to Robert Eugene Viles Sr. and Helen (Hickcox) Viles. He moved with his family to the Buffalo area in 1960. He graduated from Buffalo High School in 1973. He attended church at New Hope Church when he was younger. He loved to sing hymns and would sing for anyone who would listen. He was very friendly and loved to shake hands. He enjoyed playing bingo. He never complained. He was preceded in death by his parents, a niece, Paula, a great-nephew, Levi and two brothers-in-law, Dennis Dibben and Paul Hamblin. He is survived by his brother; Michael Viles of Buffalo, Missouri, four sisters; Carol Lankford and husband Carl, Linda Dibben, Marilynn Gargus and husband Victor, and Donna Hamblin, and by many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2:30 pm Thursday, April 21, 2022 in the Memorial Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Buffalo, Missouri under the direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, Missouri In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
