I met Alma back in 1989, she was a weekly regular at my place of employment where my mother also worked and got the privilege to know her. We would also run into her and Howard at Country Kitchen often. She was never in too big a hurry to skip a hello and chat for a few. We hadn't seen her in many, many years but she was such a sweet woman both of us have never forgotten her and enjoyed visiting with her. I am glad memories of special people stay with us no matter how much time goes by.

Please accept our sympathy in the passing of sweet Alma. We were so fortunate to know her as a Christian sister at Hillcrest Baptist, but also enjoyed many meals with her at Western Sizzlin after church services. I got to spend nearly a year with Alma. It started as a job but quickly became so much more for me. Alma was a precious soul that gave me a lot of inspiration and memories that I will treasure always. I looked at Alma as though she was family and I cared for her as such. I am very honored by the time I spent with her and can only imagine the many joys that her family has had with her their entire life. Rest sweetly my dear Ms Alma.
