Such a lovely obituary. I remember the "tragic work accident," and can't imagine what true love fueled Barbara's selfless caregiving through many years. Yes, she was a beautiful lady, in many ways. My mom was one of the many she played bridge with. Kenise and I sparred in sewing competitions. My skills were gained under my grandmother's tutelage; I didn't realize that Kenise's skills were gained through Barbara's tutelage.
It's so sad to lose a wonderful next door neighbor of 55 years. My sincere sympathy to Ed, Jeff, Kenise and families.

My mother, Jean Plaster, was Barbara's best friend for years. My son, Douglas, remarked, "Well, Grandma Jeano has her buddy back." Barbara was a neat lady. SHE WILL BE MISSED.
