I will miss Jimmy he had just came in to get his hair cut and beard trim. We always talked about the Bible, Jesus, and Heaven. Now look cant you just see him smiling from ear to ear, he was a favorite of my customers.cant wait to see him again
Uncle Jimmy was a sweet and funny man. He loved and laughed big! I loved listening to his funny stories. I also love how he embraced everyone in Seymour and made Seymour his home. His family was his light, and he was happiest when he was with them either working or playing. Peace and comfort wished for his entire family.
I know the expression "Two Peas In A Pod" was created because of my two brothers Don & Jimmie. Those two could create havoc where havoc never reigned. Sadly Don passed away but it only slowed Jimmie down a tad bit. If you wanted to get on his bad side, just hurt a child. Any child. Otherwise he was a friend to everyone. Jimmies story telling was a legend. One of my favorite stories was his time in Navy Boot camp. Sadly Jimmie was honorably ( Medical) discharged. Our mom received a letter from the Navy telling her that her son scored so high on his test that if they could, they would have kept him regardless because of his test score. You mention hunting and you better be prepared for all of his hunting stories. Not one time when I would be talking to Jimmie on the phone did he fail to say "I LOVE YOU" before hanging up. Jimmie was all about family. He loved his family and his family loved him. Before I close this memory post I will say Jimmie. "I LOVE YOU." R.I.P. LITTLE BROTHER.
Uncle Jimmy was one of the good guys. So many memories of him from the apartment. He hated cats...and we had some cat stories to tell. He’s probably looking down reading all this and laughing till he cried...Jimmy I don’t think “our cats” went to heaven, so you enjoy it up there. Love ya...Tammy and Kallun
