I know Shane as a lovely child that had endless patience with a horse that followed him like a calf follows it mother. The Shane I knew was kind, and careful, and peaceful. He, his brother Michael and their cousin Joe spend some days with us one one summer. I still have warm and sunny memories of that time. I know his memory will warm you for years to come.

I am truly sorry for the unexpected sudden loss of your loved one, Shane. No doubt it must be a difficult time for your family. He really sounded like a wonderful father and friend to many, with his love of nature and comical ways. I found that turning to the scriptures brought comfort to me. At 2 Corinthians 1:3 it speaks of our loving Heavenly Father to have tender mercies and comfort. It is warming to know there is hope for those we care for so deeply, at Psalms 37:11 it reads ..but the meek ones will possess the earth and they will find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
