Wonderful family is all I can say! I was a neighborhood kid. Went to church at Hillcrest Baptist Church as well. Spent time in the Hill household; Becky was my childhood friend. I remember riding in her daddy's truck & we'd sing to the tune, "Work Your Finger's To the Bone". They were a hardworking, humble & kind family.
Marie also helped with the delivery of our only son. It was comforting to have her by my side & sharing her knowledge with me. She was definitely a gem!
I'm sorry I didn't know about her passing sooner. Heartfelt condolences to the family.
Marie with her grandson Collin Dibben on our wedding day 7/11/1998. Together again in heaven! He loved her so much and she always so sweet. I remember when we'd go down to her house and she'd have a table full of food. He always said his grandma was the best cook. I know I have other pics of the two of them but this was in our wedding album so I knew right where it was.
Lighting a candle for Marie and for Collin. It's been over 15 years since they've been together but I'm sure they're making up for lost time <3
I remember as a little girl going to the house and she always greeted us with big hugs and "come on in and eat!" she made the best friend chicken and biscuits and gravy! She taught my Dad, Ron (Ronnie) how to make biscuits and gravy and now I can make it too! Heaven got a beautiful angel and I'm proud to call her my Great Aunt Marie!

The family are in my prayers.
Condolences to the family!! Marie, was a very important person in my life at a young age. She taught my sisters, and me in Sunday School, and also in GA's. Her faith was unwavering and I admired that so much in her. I also had the pleasure of working at the hospital with Marie after I graduated high school. I learned so much from her and I will always cherish the knowledge she shared with me. God bless Marie, I look forward to seeing you again someday.
I always loved working with Marie. She was a treasure!! I'm sorry for your loss.
