Adeline Elizabeth Ramsey (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Adeline Elizabeth Ramsey, 86, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Bolivar Parkview Health Care Facility. She was born on July 20, 1933 to Arthur and Minnie Kleeburger in Dennison, MN. As a teenager she was raised by her sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and John Lermon of Dodge Center, MN. She married Wilbur Schmoll of Dodge Center, MN on August 18, 1949. They had ten children (Larry, Dale, Ron, Kevin, Craig, Steve, Nancy, Marilyn, Susan, Sherry). Their primary home was in Rock Dell, MN. They were later divorced. On February 24, 1978 she married Kenneth Ramsey in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home in Humansville, MO. The marriage brought 8 step-children into the family (Kenneth JR, Robert, Richard, Michael, Gary, Susan, Shirley, Sally) of Bridgeport, TX. She was loved as a mother to many daughter and son-in-laws. As a grandma to many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. As a dear friend to many, she never knew a stranger just a friend she hadn’t met.
She wore many hats, foremost a Christian, a mother, a farmer’s wife, a trucker’s wife and a waitress.
She loved spending time with her family and her dogs, gardening, cooking, playing cards, doing puzzles, and watching birds. She loved animals as God’s creatures. And above all, worshiping the Lord. She and Ken were very active in their church, driving the church bus, bible study, Sunday school, Vacation Bible school and keeping the church and grounds maintained.
She spent her entire life teaching her children about the Lord, always setting an example in her words and actions. Her greatest wish was for all her children to know the Lord. Services for Adeline will be held Monday, October 14, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Butler Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place in the Flemington Cemetery in Flemington, MO.
