Albert Chester Steinke (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Albert Chester Steinke, age 97, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility on Saturday afternoon, May 28, 2011 after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer’s disease.
He was born November 26, 1913 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to August Steinke and Frances (Gruno) Steinke.
Albert was a welder for Standard Sheet Metal in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for 45 years. He moved to Bolivar, Missouri in 1977. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bolivar, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Thelma M. Steinke, a daughter; JoAnne (Steinke) Johnson, a sister; Madeline Harrer, and two brothers; Edward Steinke and Frank Steinke.
Albert is survived by a son; Thomas Frank Steinke of San Diego, California, a daughter; Mary Margaret Insco and her husband Bill of Melbourne, Florida, and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Dr. Bill Hooper officiating. Burial will follow at the Enon Cemetery, southwest of Bolivar, Missouri. No visitation will be held.
