Alberta June Hart (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Alberta June Hart was born January 5, 1934, in Celt, Missouri, and departed this life Tuesday, August 27, 2019, in Mercy Hospital, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-five years, seven months, and twenty-two days.
On January 31, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa, she was united in marriage to Clyde Wesley Hart, and to this union two daughters and one son were born.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sophia Rucker; and three brothers, Chester, Estel “Pete”, and Bill.
Alberta is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Clyde, of the home; two daughters, Carrie Sien, and her husband, Bryan, of Stoutland, Missouri, and Cindy Harkey, and her husband, Tom, of Bettendorf, Iowa; a son, Rex Hart, and his wife, Ann, of Sleeper, Missouri; six grandchildren, John, Jayna, and her husband, Pat, Jonas, Julia, Josh, and his wife, Meredith, and Dylan, and his wife, Blair; eight great-grandchildren, Devon, Chloe, Leilani, Cora, Natalie, Quinn, Brayden, and Colton; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Missouri, and graduated from Tunas High School. During her school years, she was a star player on the basketball team and was team captain. After she and Clyde were married, they made their home in LeClaire and Pleasant Valley, Iowa and lovingly raised their family. Thirty years later, the family moved to Missouri, and eventually made their home in Lebanon. Through the years, Alberta was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
Alberta had professed her faith in Christ and was a member of the Four Square Church in LeClaire, Iowa.
In her spare time she enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and liked visiting with her family and friends. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Alberta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
A memorial has been established to the Ira Cemetery.
