Aleth Dugger (Hartville)'s Obituary
Aleth Dugger, daughter Low Conrad and Edna Chambers Moore, was born March 23, 1922 in Wright County, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in the Hartville Care Center, Hartville, Missouri.
On August 17, 1940, Aleth was united in marriage to Travis James Dugger and to this union four children were born.
Aleth was preceded in death by her husband Travis; son-in-law, Ray Hutson; great-granddaughter, Casey Marie Napier; great-great-granddaughter, Breanna Dugger; two brothers, Eugene and James Arthur Moore; sisters, Mamie, Lola, Pauline, and Amie “Dood.”
She is survived by her children, Ruby Hutson of Mansfield, Missouri, Arthur Dugger and wife Linda of Lawson, Missouri, Merie Hicks and husband George of Hartville, Missouri, and Kyle Dugger and wife Becky of Mansfield, Missouri; eighteen grandchildren, forty-eight great-grandchildren, twenty great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Craver of Hartville, Missouri; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Aleth was born in Wright County and attended Evening Shade and Johnson grade schools. After she and Travis were married, they moved to California and Washington, before settling in Idaho. The family moved back to Wright County in the late 1940’s and Aleth spent the rest of her life living in the area.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Sunshine Free Pentecostal Church.
In her spare time, Aleth enjoyed fishing with her cane pole. She loved working in her yard and tending her many beautiful flowers. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she treasured the time spent with them.
Aleth was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends.
Memorials to Moore Cemetery or Steele Memorial Cemetery may be made through the funeral home.
