Alexander Ryan Jones (Lebanon)'s Obituary
A young man gone much too soon, Alexander Ryan Jones passed away in his home Saturday, March 15, 2025 in Rolla, Missouri. He was twenty-five years and nine months of age. His dog, Joey, who was next to his master at the time, also perished in the incident.
Alex was born June 15, 1999 in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Evelyn Jones. He lived most of his life in Lebanon, Missouri and was a 2017 graduate of Lebanon High School. Following graduation, he attended Missouri S & T for three years where he majored in French and was fluent in the language.
Alex loved playing his guitar and singing. He also enjoyed getting out on the road on his motorcycle. He will be remembered as always being willing to help people.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jenny Jones; and his paternal grandfather, Jimmy Boone, who he never met; his maternal great-grandparents, Bill and Phyllis Jones and a special cousin, Triston James Wyatt Hall.
Alex is survived by his mother, Evelyn Boone and her husband James of Lebanon, Missouri; his brother, Logan Jones of Lebanon, Missouri; his maternal grandfather, Randy Jones of the State of Illinois; his paternal grandmothers, Pamela Boone of New Mexico and Mary Anna Cordova of Amarillo, Texas; and many other family members and friends.
He was a member of Community Baptist Church in Lebanon.
He had moved to Rolla a few years ago and was in the process of establishing Alexander Construction Company. He had a talent as a carpenter and enjoyed using his hands, along with his bright and creative mind, in his carpenter skills as well as his talent as a musician and an artist. He also enjoyed multiple hunting trips with his father.
Alex had a big heart and received satisfaction out of helping others. He worked hard and always tried to do the right thing. His loss is deeply felt by his family and he will be so missed. We know that he lives on in them, in their memories and in their love for each other.
