Alice Evans' Obituary
Alice Lorene Evans, age 63, of Dunnegan, Missouri passed away at 6:00am, Friday morning, February 12, 2010 at Citizen’s Memorial Health Care Facility in Bolivar, Missouri. She was born December 23, 1946 in Long Lane, Missouri to Lloyd A. Flanders and Helena E.M. Herrman Flanders. Alice was a factory worker for the Zenith Corporation for 25 years before retiring in 1992. She graduated from Wheatland High School and was a wonderful seamstress, making afghans, quilts, stuffed animals and also enjoyed crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, David, Timothy and Charles Flanders, and one sister, Iris Hucker. Alice is survived by her three sons, Jason Evans and his wife Deborah of Fair Play, Missouri, Lloyd Evans of Dunnegan, Missouri, B.R. Evans, II of Fair Play, Missouri, one sister, Carol Flanders and her husband Kozy Maples of Springfield, Missouri, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Benton Branch Cemetery in Long Lane, Missouri with Elder Billy Shepard officiating under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri. A visitation will be held Monday evening from 5-7pm at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri. Pallbearers will be Jason Evans, Lloyd Evans, Berla Evans, II, Kevin Kent, William Dudley and Adam Hucker.
