Cousin Alice was a woman I never knew very Well but liked and admired all the same the daughter of my grandfather's aunt she was an awesome woman and made my last trip to Mansfield menorsble she opened her home to my grandfather and I on our trip and guided me threw the wild homes and then I spent hours listening to her and my grandfather who is 4 years older talk about their childhoods and shared memories so from Grandpa and I we will miss hearing from you now and again Alice Jane Rest In Peace, Amber Carpenter and Bill Draper(Grandpa)

Alice was a wonderfully sweet lady. After her years as a docent for the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and museum she could be found volunteering at the Historical Society on the square. I learned a lot from our talks. I hope you find comfort in knowing she was a great asset in telling the history of the community. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
I worked with Alice Jane many years ago at Wright County Bank. She was such a sweet person. I have some beautiful memories of her. I hadn't seen her for many years but ran into her in Hartville this past summer and had a nice visit. Sympathy and prayers for comfort to the family. Janice (Mackie) Erisman
