Alice Marie Fowler (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Alice Marie Fowler, 75, of Buffalo, Missouri died Friday night, January 25, 2013 at her home in Buffalo.
Alice was born February 6, 1937, in Bolivar, the daughter of Chester Gent and Versa Brown.
Alice wed Donald Lee Fowler on July 5, 1952, seven children; Joyce, Joan Diane, Tim, Darrel, Ronald, Gary and Terry Fowler.
Alice was a member of the Armor Heights Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
Alice was a cook, employed by Mashburn Home and later on by Southwest Baptist University, where she retired.
She enjoyed spending time with Bella her dog, and watching TV game shows.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Fowler; her parents,
Chester and Versa Gent; a daughter, Joyce Howell; two sons, Tim Fowler and Darrel Fowler; and a sister Snoda Smith.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Joan Diane Cullnan and her husband Patrick of Buffalo, MO; three sons, Ronald Fowler of Overland Park, KS, Gary Fowler and his wife Kristena of Bolivar, MO, and Terry Fowler and his wife Thelma of Merriam, KS; 14 grandchildren, John, Jason, Jordan, Joey, Timmy, Darrell, Shelby, and Matthew Fowler, Christopher Cullnan, Kevin Lazaro, Ashley McCollegan, Courtney Watterson, Alicia and Ashley Howell; three great grandchildren, Ella, and Corbin Fowler, and Amarie Parrish; one brother, Don Gent and wife Rosemary of Illinois; and one sister, Jean Rowland of St. Louis, MO.
