Alice Green (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Alice Faye Green, daughter of James Edward and Daisy Rebecca Moore Hanson, was born, October 21, 1937 in St. Joseph, Missouri. She departed this life, February 25, 2019, in Medicallodges Butler, Butler, Missouri at the age of eighty-one years, four months and four days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd Melvin Green, two brothers, Bob Hanson and Ronnie Williamson, one sister Linda Brim, and one granddaughter Wyndra Henry.
She is survived by her children, Mariann Hedstorn and husband Steve of Visalia, California, Rocky Henry of Kansas City, Mike Green and wife Mindy of Kansas City, Missouri, Sharon Williams (the favorite) and husband Terry of Kansas City, Missouri, Bill Green and wife Sandie of Girard, Kansas, and Eric Green of Adrian, Missouri; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one brother David Hanson and wife Kathy of North Carolina, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Alice was raised in St. Joseph, Missouri and graduated high school from East High in Kansas City, Missouri. They moved to Climax Springs in 1972 and made this their home. She was on the School Board of Climax Springs.
Alice made a profession of faith and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Climax Springs, Missouri.
In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, gardening, reading, baking, playing cards and fishing. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, wife and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
