Alisa Kolody's Obituary
Ms. Alisa Ann Kolody, 36, of Bolivar, MO died in her home on Friday November 25th 2011.
She was born April 10, 1975 in Des Plaines, Illinois, the daughter of Roman Peter Kolody and Leona Mae ?Toni? Steinebach.
She moved to South Florida as a small child with her family. She grew up there and moved with her family to Bolivar on November 25th, 2007.
In 1996, she was diagnosed with a very serious heart condition and she was implanted with a defibrillator/pacemaker and was unable to work. She had a love of flowers, especially roses and she loved anything heart shaped and lions and tigers.
Her daughter Brandi is very involved in competitive softball. Her mom was her favorite fan and coached several of her softball teams in Florida. Brandi is currently a varsity softball player at BHS and her mother was very proud of her.
She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and a niece.
She is survived by her daughter Brandi Kolody, her parents Roman and Toni Kolody, Her sister Cheryl Rhodes and husband Steven, her nieces Caelin and Jaden and nephew Anakin, all of Bolivar, and a Brother Kristopher Kolody of Florida, Sister Julie Bowles of Virginia and sister Christine Shumaker or Ohio. Her aunts Helen, Marlene and Virginia, Her uncles Jack, Don and Bob, all of Michigan.
A memorial service to honor her life will be held Friday December 9th, 2011 at 6:00pm at Countryside Assemble of God in Bolivar, 2921 S Morrisville Rd. Dinner at 5:00pm. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund "Alisa Kolody memorial fund" has been set up for her daughter, Brandi Kolody, at US Bank in Bolivar, MO.
