Allan Miller (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Allan Kent Miller, son of Douglas and Blanch Treblcock Miller, was born March 24, 1952, in Fairbanks, Alaska. He departed this life Friday, October 5, 2018, in Cox South Medical Center, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-six years, six months, and twelve days.
In November of 1973, he was united in marriage to Alice Faye Morris, and to this union one son was born.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Michael Miller.
Allan is survived by his wife, Alice, of the home; a son, Matthew Miller, of Long Lane, Missouri; a granddaughter, Sam Miller, of Springfield, Missouri; a brother, Stephen Miller, of Long Lane, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in the St. Louis, Missouri area, and graduated from Hazelwood High School. After he and Alice were married, they made their home in the Florissant, Missouri area and lovingly raised their son. Allan worked as an automobile painter for many years and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union # 302.
In his spare time he enjoyed being on the water, where he liked fishing, floating, and kayaking. He had a love for animals and particularly his dog and cats. His family was very dear to him and he especially loved his granddaughter.
Allan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them during his lifetime.
