Allan Wade (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Allan Paul Wade, of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in Lebanon North Nursing and Rehabilitation. At the time of his passing, he was sixty-six years, four months and nineteen days. He was born near Heidelberg, Germany to William Wade and Alice Ruth Lahnah on August 9, 1956.
On February 14, 1983, he was united in marriage to NolaMay and to this union one son was born.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, NolaMay on May 1, 2019; a sister, Peggy Webb; and his two dogs, Wilson and Barney.
Allan is survived by his son, David Wade of the State of Oklahoma; one grandson, Riyan Wade of the State of Oklahoma; his sister, Debbie Mattes of Eldridge, Missouri; three nephews, Josh Mattes of Lebanon, Missouri, William Mattes and his wife Cori of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Jacob Webb of Springfield, Missouri; and one niece, Audrey Webb of Columbia, Missouri.
Allan was raised in a military family and graduated from Lebanon High School in the class of 1974. He attended culinary school and worked at the Lake of the Ozarks for several five-star restaurants.
In his spare time, Allan enjoyed fishing and sports. He loved the Kansas City Chiefs and the Mizzou Tigers. He also liked rock and roll music and Pink Floyd was his favorite to listen to. Allan made the best decision of his life by accepting Christ as his Savior two weeks before he passed away.
You could also find Allan smoking up barbeque whenever he could and if you knew Allan, you knew he loved to eat!
Allan’s family would like to thank Brandy and the nursing staff at Lebanon North Nursing and Rehab for his wonderful care he received while he was there. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A memorial has been established for Claw and Paws and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
