Alverna Elizabeth Wade (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Alverna Elizabeth Wade, daughter of the late Ezra and Pearl Pixley, was born on September 3, 1929 in Salem, Indiana and departed this life on December 13, 2024 at her home in Buffalo, MO. At the time of her passing she was 95 years, three months, and nine days of age.
Alverna was raised in Washington County, Indiana. She was united in marriage to Stanley Setser and to this union two daughters were born, Timme and Patricia. Alverna enjoyed watching TV and going to Flee Markets with her daughter and granddaughter. After Stanley’s passing in 2003 Alverna was married to Raymond Wade.
Alverna was preceded in death by her husbands, Stanley and Raymond and her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Timme & husband Bud Hartsell of Buffalo, MO and Patricia; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonnette, and William; and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home. Interment will be in Horner's Chapel Cemetery in Fredericksburg, IN.
