Alvin C. Bridges (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Alvin C. Bridges, 90, of Halfway, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.
Alvin was born in Dinuba, CA to Dennis and Fleta “Walker” Bridges. He retried form the US Marine Corps after 25 years of service. Alvin then owned and operated Bridges Tire and Wheel Service in Burlingame, CA before moving to Halfway to operate his farm. For the last 20 years Alvin split his time between Missouri and California to avoid the frigid Missouri winters. As a loving father and grandfather he will be greatly missed by his family.
Survivors include his sons, Mark Bridges, Halfway, MO, and Tim Bridges (Becky) of Millbrae, CA; grandchildren, James Bridges, Millbrae, CA Tim Bridges, Burlingame, CA and Christina Bridges, Millbrae, CA.
