Amber Dawn Anderson (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Amber Dawn Anderson, age 46, of Halfway, Missouri entered into rest on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Amber was born on November 6, 1979, in Springfield Missouri to Larry Anderson and Penny Anderson Dixon. Amber was a graduate of Buffalo High School. Amber loved to go fishing, it brought her great joy. She was very artistic, creating many pieces she shared with family. Amber loved to travel, especially going on cruises where she went nonstop, making the most of her time. She loved dogs, butterflies, and the color pink. Amber was a beautiful person who will be very missed by all who loved her. Amber was preceded by her paternal grandparents, and maternal grandpa. She is survived by her father Larry Anderson and his partner Margaret Still, mother Penny Dixon and husband Stan, brother Joseph "Joe" Anderson, nephews Cody Anderson and wife Hannah, Colby Anderson and wife Fallon and Rowdy Anderson, niece Madison Miller and husband Floyd, great nieces and nephews Lawson, Knox, Willow, Brixlee, and Eva, maternal grandma Hattie Perkins, Amber’s significant other Justin Westerland, and extended family and beloved friends. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, February 16, 2026, with visitation at 10:00 am and formal service at 11:00 am with Pastor Dave Hilton officiating. Pallbearers will be Trevor Whitthead, Joe Anderson, Chris Morrison, Brandon Morrison, Cody Anderson, and Colby Anderson. Amber will be laid to rest at Greene Lawn Cemetery in Walnut Grove, Missouri. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo, Missouri.
