Amy Lynn Howell (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Amy Lynn Howell of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away in her home on Thursday, April 13, 2023. She was forty-nine years, nine months and ten days old at the time of her passing.
Amy was born July 3, 1973 to Jerry Randall Howell, Sr. and Donna Hagen in Rogers, Arkansas. She was raised in Eldon, Missouri and attended school there. She moved to Lebanon fifteen years ago.
She worked as a housekeeper in hotels in the area, and worked her way up to supervisor. Her favorite work was being a mom. She loved her children so very much and was thrilled to welcome her seven grandchildren into her life. She enjoyed time spent with her family and loved family gatherings. She was a good cook and enjoyed cooking for her family.
In addition to time spent with family, Amy liked riding motorcycles and going fishing. Living in the Missouri Ozarks was a great place to fulfill her hobbies.
Amy was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Howell, Sr.; her paternal grandfather, Omer Howell; her maternal grandmother, Betty Council; her maternal grandfather, Claude Hagen; and two grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Tyra Day of Lebanon, Missouri; three sons, Dyllan Day and his wife, Sara and Gage Day, all of Lebanon, Missouri; and Austin Lewis and his wife, Jessica Lewis, of Eldon, Missouri; six grandchildren, Maddie, Alora, Donna, Ariona, Conner and Legacy; her mother, Donna Hagen of Olean, Missouri; her brother, Jerry Howell, Jr. and his wife, Misi of Eldon, Missouri; her paternal grandmother, Virgie Howell of Springdale, Arkansas; four nephews; one niece; five great-nephews and one great-niece.
Amy was a very loving and caring person, not only to her family but to her co-workers. She made an impact on many lives and she will be so very missed.
A memorial service for Amy Howell will be held Monday, April 17 at 5 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home, a visitation will follow. A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
