Andy Lee Wallis (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Andy Lee Wallis, son of the Henrietta Fay Long and the late Ollie Lee Wallis, was born on February 2, 1968 in Libertyville, Illinois and departed this life on February 21, 2023 in Osage Beach, Missouri. At the time of his passing, Andy was fifty-five years and nineteen days of age.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his daughter, Amanda Moriarity.
He is survived by his spouse, Teresa Wallis; his mother, Henrietta Fay Long; two daughters, Summer & husband Alex Walker and Leianna Wallis; one son, Logan Wallis; three sisters, Debbie Wallis, Teresa Young and Melissa & Dan Carrillo; two brothers, Jimmy Wallis and Russell Wallis; and three granddaughters, Vienna Moriarity, Gweneth Moriarity and Jenna Myers.
Andy was raised and attended school in Peru, Illinois. Following his graduation, he began his career as a lifelong painter, working for the union. During his career, he sandblast and painted a bridge one mile long over the Illinois River and painted equipment for NASA and the railroad.
In his spare time, he enjoyed Traveling, collecting Matchbox cars and cooking and baking. He was devoted to his craft, known for being a perfectionist and a jack of all trades.
He was a loving husband, father, brother & grandfather and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will treasure the memories he created for his family and friends.
