Angelena J. Hirsch (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Angelena Jean Hirsch departed this life shortly after midnight on December 5, 2014 at her home in Mexico, Missouri. She died from a quick illness with pneumonia at the age of 51 yrs, 6 mos, and 12 days. Angelena was born May 23, 1963 in the 196th Station U. S. Army Hospital, 63 Boulevard Victor Hugo, Neuilly-sur-Seine France (a suburb of Paris), to Roy Stanley Kirchner, Jr. and Deva Louise (Poe) Kirchner. Angelena lived her first two full years of life near Paris while her father was in the Air Force assigned to the Office of Special Investigations District 63 in Paris.
Angelena attended schools in 4 locations: 1st grade in Albuquerque, New Mexico; 2nd grade in San Bernardino, California; first half of 3rd grade in Humansville, MO; & second half of 3rd grade through the 12th grade in Bolivar MO. She graduated from Bolivar High School in May 1981. She graduated from SBU in Bolivar in June 1983 with an Associate of Science degree in General Education.
Angelena married Ray Ike Mollet on her 19th birthday. They were married for 15 yrs. They made their home primarily on a farm in Rush Hill MO. To this union was born two sons, Glen Roy Mollet and Mike Martin Mollet. Angelena married Johnya Paul Hirsch on July 25, 1998. They have always lived in Mexico MO. To this union was born one son, Jesse John Seth Hirsch.
Angelena always took what life dealt her in stride, made the best of it, and smiled with a positive outlook. She worked full-time for 17 and a half yrs at the Wal-mart in Mexico, mainly as a cashier. She loved her job very much. She attended the First Baptist Church in Laddonia MO as much as she could. Angelena's main hobby was her pets. She left behind five grown indoor cats which she adored. She also enjoyed a great game of Scrabble, whether it be by board game or online. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her three boys! They were the utmost treasure of her life!
Angelena was preceded in death by her father, Roy S. Kirchner, Jr., on April 10, 2014; and by her 1st husband, Ray Ike Mollet, on August 18, 2014.
Angelena is survived by her spouse, Johnya, of the home; her youngest son, Jesse, of the home; her two older sons, Glen & Mike, both of Rush Hill MO; her mother, Deva Kirchner, of Bolivar MO; her sister, Christena Louise (Kirchner) Barber, of Bolivar MO; her brother, Roy S. Kirchner, III, of Clinton MO; her nephews, Nathan Barber & wife Misty of Clarksville TN & Joshua Barber & wife Lauren of Olathe KS; her nieces, Atha (Barber) Schatz & husband Benjamen of Kansas City MO & Marissa Jean Barber of Bolivar MO; her great nieces, Emily Schatz of KC MO & Olivia Barber of Clarksville TN; & her great nephew, Owen Barber, of Olathe KS. Also surviving her are former brother-in-law, Richard Barber, of Fairplay MO; uncle, Ross Poe, of Colorado Springs CO; cousin, Nancy Mann, of Falls Church VA; and many loyal & loving friends.
