Anita "Joey" Ingalls (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Anita Josephine Kekulu Waiopua Sibbett Kai Ingalls, lovingly known as “Joey”, went to her Heavenly home on October 7, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene, three sisters, one brother and her parents. She is survived by one sister, seven children, 29 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
She was born in Hilo, Hawaii on March 7, 1931. She had four sisters, one brother and seven half-brothers. She attended and graduated from King Kamehameha school, taught Catholic catechism, Sunday school for children ages 3-5 years old, a swimming instructor, and owned and operated a Hula Halau in Kansas City, Missouri.
She loved her family above all else, everyone that she met became Hanai, Hawaiian meaning of adopted family, and was known as Ms. Aloha spreading ALOHA to everyone. She will be truly missed. We love you so very much.
