Anita F. McGuire (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Anita Faye McGuire, daughter of Lindy and Ida Marie Huntington, was born May 11, 1960, in Kansas City, Kansas. She departed this life Friday, November 6, 2020, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty years, five months, and twenty-five days.
On April 30, 1988, she was united in marriage to Elza Wayne McGuire, and to this union three daughters were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elza, on November 3, 2019; a grandson, Elza Berry; and three brothers, Bernie, Jeff, and Charlie Huntington.
Anita is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Berry, and her husband, Justin, Mary Burns, and her husband, Darrell, all of Lebanon, Missouri, and Lori Dibbens, of Springfield, Missouri; three granddaughters, Jessica Leonard, Katlyn Burns, and Kalynne Berry; two great-granddaughters, Adalyn Rose Burns and Sophia Leonard; three brothers, Donnie Huntington, and his wife, Marie, and Jimmy Huntington; a sister, Linda Colbert; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Kansas and received her education there. After she and Elza were married, they made their home between Kansas City, Kansas and Lebanon, Missouri. Through the years, Anita was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
In her spare time she enjoyed growing beautiful plants and flowers, playing and singing music. Her family was very dear to her and she especially enjoyed having time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Anita was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
