Ann Elizabeth Ladish (Humansville)'s Obituary
Ann Elizabeth Ladish, 46, was found the morning of Tuesday, December 3, 2024 to have left her earthly body to go with the angels in her sleep, returning to her heavenly home and reuniting with passed loved ones after a long struggle with MS. She had been staying with her loving cousins in Kansas City, Missouri, her home away from home when the Kansas City Chiefs played at Arrowhead Stadium, both places where she was welcomed, happy, cared for and loved.
Ann was born in Osceola, MO on April 13, 1978 to Susan P. Alsup and Michael M. Ladish Jr., joining five other siblings. She graduated from Humansville High School and later went on to become an LPN at OTC in Springfield, MO, remaining a dedicated nurse until her death.
Ann was very artistic and enjoyed crafting things for others. As her friend David Anderson so eloquently phrased it, “Ann had a way of finding old things at thrift shops and turning them into something beautiful. She always found the beauty in things others overlooked”.
Ann was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and in addition to attending home games at Arrowhead Stadium with family and friends, she traveled to Chiefs games held in England and Germany. She was an intricate part of a tailgating group at Arrowhead.
Ann was preceded in death by her father, Michael M. Ladish Jr.; her grandparents, Christine and Michael M. Ladish Sr.; George Vargas Sr and Harriet Vargas; Lillian and Frank McConnell, her aunt and uncle, Janice and Tom Eastmoor; Uncle George Vargas Jr.; Uncle Bud O’Connor, and her beloved pets, Tilly, Wilson and Lola.
Ann is survived by her loving mother, Susan P. Alsup; siblings, Carolyn, Michael M. Ladish III and Lisa, Janice Ladish, George Ladish, Christine and Terry George, Aunt Kathy O’Connor, many nieces and nephews, three great nephews, numerous cousins as well as many friends and the Chiefs Kingdom family.
Her absence will be felt by all.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society.
