Anna Marie Cotrel (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Anna Marie Cotrel, daughter of Raymond H. and Rosemary Clark Knapp, was born December 20, 1961, in Tacoma, Washington. She departed this life Saturday, February 8, 2020, in Pettis County Assisted Living in Sedalia, Missouri, at the age of fifty-eight years, one month, and twenty days.
She was preceded in death by her father; a brother, John Henry Knapp; and a sister, Linda Atkinson.
Anna is survived by a daughter, Katlyn Knapp, of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, Shane Cotrel, of Competition, Missouri; a number of grandchildren; her mother, Rosemary Knapp, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Roger Knapp, of Union, Missouri; five sisters, Rose Knapp, of Lebanon, Missouri, Mary Louise Ellsworth, of Republic, Missouri, Mary Jane Matthews, of the State of Texas, and Barbara Knapp, of Eureka, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born in Washington, but lived most of her life in the Lebanon area, where she attended Lebanon R-III Schools. She worked for the H. D. Lee Company for several years, before becoming disabled. She was always a devoted homemaker to her family.
She liked being outdoors where she would play with her favorite dog, “Legend” and her other dogs. She also enjoyed eating dark chocolate. She had a feisty disposition and liked to laugh. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and took great pride in them.
Anna was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family will hold tight to the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in Holman-Howe Funeral Home. A visitation will follow.
