Anna Merrie Foster (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Anna Merrie Foster, daughter of James and Denise Hogan Foster, was born August 29, 1990, in Osage, Iowa. She departed this life Saturday, November 7, 2015, in her home, in Suffolk, Virginia, at the age of twenty-five years, two months, and nine days.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Dennis Hogan; and her paternal grandfather, James Foster.
Anna is survived by two daughters, Desirae Ricks, of Suffolk, Virginia, and Dajhanae Merrie Foster, of the State of Iowa; her mother, Denise Snow, and her husband, Bill, of Lebanon, Missouri; her father, James Foster, of Charles City, Iowa; three brothers, Jesse Foster, of Lebanon, Missouri, James Foster, and Franklin Foster, both of Charles City, Iowa; a sister, Brianna Foster, of Charles City, Iowa; a step-brother, Billy Snow, of Springfield, Missouri; two step-sisters, Ashley Ogle, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Teryn Snow, of the State of Indiana; her maternal grandmother, Pat Hogan, of Stockton, Missouri; her paternal grandmother, Gloria Foster, of Floyd Iowa; her step-grandmother, Carolyn Snow, of Falcon, Missouri; her maternal great-grandmother, Margaret O’Tool, of Stockholm, Wisconsin; her fiancé, Marquis Ricks, of Suffolk, Virginia; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She lived most of her life in the Lebanon, Missouri area and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. She had been employed by Copeland Corporation and by McDonald’s Restaurant for a few years. She had made her home in Suffolk, Virginia for a short time.
Anna professed her faith in Christ and was baptized in May of 2011 at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon.
In her spare time she enjoyed camping with her family. She was a free spirit, was rather outspoken, and you could always tell what she was thinking. She didn’t make excuses for her disability and didn’t let it get in her way. She always put others first, and loved her family dearly.
Anna was a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, sister, fiancée, and was a kind and caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories that she created for them during her short lifetime.
