Anna E. Ipock (Seymour)'s Obituary
Anna Elizabeth Emerick Ipock of Seymour, Missouri passed away February 27, 2017. She was born November 26, 1929 in Seymour, Missouri to Ed and Nora Cochran Emerick. After the death of her mother, she was raised by her aunt Sarah Ann Cochran.
Anna professed her faith in Christ and was baptized at First Baptist Church of Seymour. Anna graduated from Seymour High School class of 1947 and was active in the Seymour Alumni Association for many years. She was well-known in the Seymour community having worked at The Seymour Bank, Farmers’ Exchange. She retired from Ozarks Correctional Center in 1997.
When her health permitted, she loved to travel. Anna was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her aunt Ann, numerous siblings and her great granddaughter Zoey Ann Ipock.
She is survived by her four children, Dennis Ipock and his wife, Geraldine, and Ellis Ipock and his wife, Beth all of Seymour, Fred Ipock and his wife, Nancy, and Patsy Freeman and her husband, Steve, all of Springfield; her eleven grandchildren, Wayne, Brenda, Sherri, Michael, Dwight, DeWayne, Clint, Chad, Chris, Matthew and Aaron; and 19 great-grandchildren.
