Anna Stull's Obituary
Mrs. Anna Marie Stull, age 88, of Bolivar, Missouri, departed this life early Monday morning, January 23, 2012 at Parkview Healthcare Facility in Bolivar, Missouri.
Anna Marie was born in Hinton, Iowa on May 24, 1923 the daughter of Louis H. Roepke and Mary Barbara (Sitzmann) Roepke. She graduated from Leeds High School in Leeds, Iowa in 1942.
Following her graduation she worked with the U.S.O. during WWII. Anna would tell of how much fun she had dancing with the soldiers and said that is was the best time of her life. For most of her career she worked as a waitress, with Los Coyote?s Country Club in Buena Park, California being her final workplace.
On November 1, 1952 she was united in marriage to Donald E. Stull in Sioux City, Iowa. To this union were born two sons, Daniel and Timothy.
Anna Marie is preceded in death by her parents; Louis and Mary Roepke, her sister; Kathline M. Lester in 1974, her husband; Donald E. Stull in 2001, her daughter-in-law; Victoria Stull in 2009, and Mrs. Daniel ?Rusty? Stull.
She is survived by her sons; Daniel Stull and his wife Janie of Riverside, California, Timothy M. Stull of Arvada, Colorado, her brothers; James H. Roepke and his wife Glenda of St. Louis, Missouri, Leo H. Roepke and his wife Joan of Raleigh, North Carolina, her sisters; Mary M. Towle of Annapolis, Maryland, Elizabeth L. Bock of Bolivar, Missouri, grandchildren; Adrienne V. Martin of Summerfield, North Carolina, Alex M. Stull of Denver, Colorado, and great-grandchild; Ava L. Martin of Summerfield, North Carolina.
Anna Marie?s wishes were to have cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00pm, on January 26, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bolivar, Missouri with Father Patrick Wissman officiating.
A private inurnment will follow at a later date.
