Anna Waneta Truster, daughter of Roy Lee and Delma Thomson Earll, was born November 30, 1942. She departed this life Sunday, June 30, 2019 at her home in Hartville at the age of seventy-six years and seven months.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean Truster and her parents Roy Lee and Delma Esther Truster.
She is survived by her son, Earnest Russell and his wife Ruth, of Harrison, Arkansas; her daughter, Lora Smith and her husband, Ricky, of Harrison, Arkansas; her brother, John Earll, of Hollister, Missouri; a step-son, Bud Truster and his wife Nelly, of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two step-daughters, Candice Mahafee and Jackie French, both of Idaho.
Annie was born and raised in Lead Hill, Arkansas and graduated college from College of the Ozarks. She was a caring person that never met a stranger and treated everyone the same no matter what walk of life you came from. Anna loved to sit and visit with friends and even strangers at the café almost every day. She was somewhat shy, but she had a devious and ornery side to her. She was a charismatic dancer and talented artist. She loved to collect just about everything and never threw any of it away. She loved to help research the history of Wright County and helped with the collection and storage of the county’s history.
Everyone that knew Annie, knew that she loved to walk. She was seen everyday walking into town to go to the Café or to the thrift store, often doing a jig along the way. Annie had a heart of gold and she will be missed. We celebrate her wonderful life and we will always cherish the many happy memories she created.
