Anne B. Mitchell (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Anne Bloom Mitchell, 55, of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 25, 2014.
Anne was born in Evanston, Illinois, on January 13, 1959. She is survived by her husband Terry, her son Ryan, her parents Nancy and Steve Bloom, her sister Carolyn, and her brothers Bradley and Thomas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Anne spent her early years in Clarendon Hills, IL, graduated from Hinsdale Central High School, and went on to college at Eastern Illinois University.
Following college Anne met Terry and they were married November 6, 1982, in St. Charles, Illinois. Their son Ryan was born in 1984. In 1999 Anne and Terry purchased a lake home at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri where Anne later started her successful real estate company CrazyFish Realty.
Exceptionally giving and always thinking of others, Anne lived life to the fullest. You were most likely to find her spending time on the lake with family and friends. Her passions in life were gourmet cooking and entertaining. A warm person with a loving smile, Anne always made you feel at home, usually in the kitchen. A wife, mother, and foster mother, Anne also found time to help children who were in foster care or the child welfare system as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer.
In lieu of flowers the family would welcome Memorial Donations, in memory of Anne, to CASA or Catholic Charities to continue to help children in need.
