Anni E. Jobe (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Anni Elisabeth Jobe, daughter of Alois and Lisette Kissel Buttner, was born April 1, 1928, in Wurzberg, Germany. She departed this life Saturday, February 25, 2017, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-eight years, ten months, and twenty-four days.
On May 20, 1969, she was united in marriage to Robert Wayne Jobe and they shared forty years before his passing on September 13, 2009.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, and one sister.
Anni is survived by a daughter, Maria L. Hilton, of Lebanon, Missouri; four granddaughters, Melissa Hilton, Mandie Nelson, Ashley Hilton, all of Lebanon, Missouri, and Melanie Fraker, of Marshfield, Missouri; a grandson, Justin Hilton, of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Maria Wilson, of Vacaville, California; eight great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Germany, and then made her way to the United States in 1962. After she and Robert were married, they made their home in Lebanon, and lovingly raised their daughter. In addition to being a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, Anni also worked as a cook at the Munger Moss Restaurant for over thirty years.
She believed in clipping coupons and recycling, and liked caring for her lawn. She made her family the center of her life and she loved receiving kisses from her family members.
Anni was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her eighty-eight years.
Services for Anni Elisabeth Jobe will be private and will be under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
