Annie R Monroy (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Annie Ruth Monroy, daughter of the late John William and Edna Clara (McDaniel) Zedlitz, was born on August 9, 1945 in Hargerman, New Mexico and departed this life on April 1, 2018 in Buffalo, Missouri. At the time of her passing she was 72 years, 7 months and 23 days of age.
Annie was born in Hargerman, New Mexico. The family later moved to Eloy, Arizona in 1945 for 1 year, then moved to Roswell, New Mexico, then to Texas for four years before later returning to Roswell, New Mexico where she finished her schooling. She was raised and attended a Baptist church. She was united in marriage to Marcus Monroy on June 6, 1992. After they split up she moved to Buffalo, Missouri on July 15, 2006. After graduating from high school in 1965 she moved to California where she worked for several different chicken ranches and factories in or around Redlands, California. She later became a resident of Buffalo Prairie Care Center in 2008, where she stayed until her passing.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents; her three brothers, J.W Zedlitz, Richard Zedlitz and Ray Zedlitz; and one nephew, Jerry Purvis; she is survived by her two sisters, Helen Bradberry and Mary Jo Chirstenot; and one son, Stacy Lee Zedlitz. She also leaves many other friends and family who will all truly miss her.
