Ap Marie Jones (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Ap Marie Jones was born November 1, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri to Alpha Ogle and Kathreen Blackburn Ogle. She passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 in Lebanon North Nursing and Rehab in Lebanon, Missouri. At the time of her passing, she was seventy-one years, five months and eighteen days of age.
Marie grew up in Independence, Missouri and moved to Lebanon in the early 1970’s. She was married to Charles Maurice “Morris” Jones on August 20, 2002. He passed away on January 26, 2003.
Marie was employed at Lebanon South Nursing and Rehab as a cook for a number of years. She also served as a faithful volunteer at the Salvation Army. She also volunteered at other various places and was a server at the V.F.W.
She most recently attended Wood Street Baptist Church. She loved God and looked forward to spending an eternity in Heaven.
In addition to her husband Morris, she was preceded in death by her parents, Alpha and Kathreen; a brother, Alpha Ogle, Jr.; her nephew, Carl; and twins great-grandchildren, Liam and Gary Jr Crouch.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Ogle of Lebanon, Missouri; her son, Billy Ogle and his wife Sue of Blue Springs, Missouri; five grandchildren, Tiffany and her husband Justin, Ashley and her husband Dakota, Allan, T.J, Elijah and his wife Rachael; twelve great-grandchildren, Emma, Natalee, Hayven, Dracarys, Addyson, Allyson, Arya, Zaylee, Adrian, Bailey, Cori and Ava; three sisters, Janie Brown of Laquey, Missouri, Delores Moore of Independence, Missouri and Margaret Sue Devore of Lebanon, Missouri; two brothers, James E. Ogle of Independence, Missouri and Tommy J. Ogle of Higginsville, Missouri.
Marie loved her little dog, “Sassy” and enjoyed doing embroidery. She was a very caring person and took care of her friends. Most of all, she loved her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life and she looked forward to spending time with them.
Marie will be remembered for the love she had for her family and her kindness and care for her friends. She will be missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial has been established to Wood Street Church and donations may be left at the funeral home.
