Archie Mitchell (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Archie D. Mitchell, 81 of Bolivar, MO passed away early Monday morning on July 8, 2013 at his residence. He was born on July 29, 1932 in Ft. Payne Alabama; he is the son of Howard Mitchell and Emily Dover Mitchell.
On June 6, 1951 in Ft. Payne Alabama, Archie married the woman whom he spent many years with, Martha Frances Henson Mitchell, to this marriage there were eight children.
Archie spent much of his time working as a welder, taking care of his family. He enjoyed being out on his farm, hunting, fishing, and helping his good friend “Jim”. He was a very proud 3rd degree Mason.
Archie is preceded in death by his Wife, Martha Mitchell, a son, Kevin Douglas, his parents, Howard and Emily Mitchell, two brothers J.T. Mitchell and Travis Mitchell.
Surviving are his seven children; His only daughter, Dixie Bozarth of Buffalo, MO; and his six Sons, James (Danny) Mitchell and his wife Sheila of Independence, MO; Archie (Mike) Mitchell and his wife Lois of Independence, MO; Ronnie Mitchell of Weleetka, OK; Terry Mitchell and his wife Ronda of Bolivar, MO; Davey Mitchell and his wife Lisa of Independence, MO; and Jerry Mitchell of Cameron, MO; also, many grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren.
