Arliss Dale Stigall (Hartville)'s Obituary
Arliss Dale Stigall, son of Claude and Roxie (Whited) Stigall, was born June 25, 1947 in Hartville, Missouri. He departed this earthly life late Saturday evening in his home in Mountain Grove, at the age of seventy years, one month, and seventeen days.
Arliss was united in marriage with Judy Ann Cantrell on June 10, 1967 and to this union two loving children were born.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jerry Stigall and Stanley Stigall; and one sister, Shelby Jean Crewse.
Arliss is survived by his loving wife Judy; a son, Arlin Stigall; a daughter Renee Kelly and her husband Anthony; five grandchildren, Meadow Renee, Shades Dale, Megan Renee`, Tristan Allen, and Claudia Ann; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Arliss was born in Hartville, Missouri. He attended Hartville School until the third grade when his family moved to Mountain Grove, Missouri. Arliss continued school and played football for his remaining years in school. Arliss enlisted in the US Army and serviced until 1972. While he was in the service, he married the love of his life, Judy and the two spent the next 50 years together.
Arliss enjoyed the many blessings the Lord gave him. He loved to sing and play music, play ball, gather the family and have a fish fry, or just visiting with anyone who wanted to catch up. He was loved by many. He always had a smile on his face and lived his life to the absolute fullest. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. We celebrate his life and cherish the many happy memories he created with us.
